The joy Adam shows while looking at props makes the show so much more enjoyable. Like a kid in a candy shop.
You can see his honest respect and awe of how others approach and build the things he himself could make.

I doubt it matters much, but I only started watching Silo because of these videos. Thanks for the rec, Adam and crew.

Having worked on this set (production, not construction) its absolutely stunning, its just as big as it looks, and has so much detail.

Love that Adam basically creates some of the BTS Special Features for these shows that often get little to none. I pulled the Expanse ones down to include in with the (almost non-existent) BR extras on my media server.

As a trained commercial diver and dive medic, I took great interest in these scenes. Setting aside the survivability of Juliette's dive profile (it's fiction, after all), I'm _very_ impressed by the lengths the studio went to in order to film these scenes. It was apparent that Rebecca had a source of breathing gas and had been trained to avoid holding her breath (especially on ascent). I also noticed that the (ostensibly open-ended) breathing hose did not spew bubbles when it was out of her mouth. However, I just assumed it was all down to a hidden SCUBA rig and some clever editing. I never would have imagined that the breathing hose was _functional_ with a built-in regulator!

Massive kudos to these amazingly talented artists, the safety divers, and Rebecca herself. Adam, as always, your enthusiasm is infectious and delightful. You're that rare master who has managed to keep a beginner's mind. Thank you!

Really cool to know how the props are made because they’ve put so much thought into practicality yet still in line with the design language of the show

I love this show and thank you Adam for making this behind the scenes series. It makes me appreciate the show even more seeing the scale of it and how much work and dedication all of the production people put into it.

@10:15 - That is cool to know that at least some of it was shot with it working but that was a notable issue in the scene they aired because there wasn't air bubbles constantly coming out of it as he pumped.

Really loving all these prop and costume videos, but hope we get to see Adam talking with Rebecca Ferguson as well.

Ah, a place where I can comment on Silo. I've really enjoyed the show and was amazed when they mentioned the harmonium. Only problem was they used it as a pump and the harmonium sucks air through the reeds were an organ blows the air through the reeds. Just one small technical problem. But it was great to see that it's mentioned. My partner uses one all the time. It's a small portable one of the type that were used on ships and by the Salvation Army bands.

The cleaners helmets from Silo make me immediately think of 2001 A Space Odysee, there are many similarities in their basic design language.

Who made the retro keyboards they are using with the old CRT monitors is what I really wanna know and can't find info for online.
