Can’t help but feel like c9’s result is the fate that awaits echo fox in the semifinals. A team that dominated the first half of the split but slipped towards the end and couldn’t reverse the momentum.

as a long time c9 fan i can admit the team isnt as good as people believed this split. the only reason they had a lot of wins in the first half is because they pumped alot of resources into Licorice which is their glaring weakness. but once other teams figured out how to work as teams they broke thru c9’s other 4 superior players thru Licorice. opening up the import spot for Sven was a decent choice i think most people dont give sven a lot of credit but i really think Licorice needs to grow more and focus on the decisions he makes in order for c9 to actually be a good team this overall season. not to say he is the only problem but its the biggest problem that prevents them from retaining their dominant top team spot.

Sven has such little impact it’s nuts. Licorice just gets punished too easily. I think smoothie dies too often because of the team slack. Honestly sneaky is their best and they needa learn to play around him while putting Jensen on a defensive mid laner that can match pressure but not the ultimate play maker.

Honestly, C9 looked okay, but Licorice and their constant failed attempts at trying to pinch Impact didn't help them. Licorice did fine for his rooky split, but he's not good enough to help a team get to the finals. But at the same time, it isn't completely his fault. Afterall, this past Summer CLG took third with Omargod, who was a garbage jungler. But this split was tougher this time, so who knows if it's his fault or not.
