My vision with this mix was to express the emotional journey of finding that mirage symbolically. In the beginning we have a growing need, we seek refuge and sustenance; in our desperation our mind creates a mirage to fill that void and give us hope. It's an innate defense mechanism to give us the energy to try to push through when things are at their darkest and your body and mind are ready to give up. Energy builds and as we dive in we find, for a short period a sense of balance. However, that balance is short lived and we move into desperation again. Finally, we eventually give in to our situation making room for a transition into true balance and happiness.
