What can I do if VSCode does not recognize JDK as installed right away? I'm on SteamOS, already did everything shown here but I still get "Please download and install a JDK to compile your project. You can configure your projects with different JDKs by the setting when trying to run my project.

Thanks for your video, after a few hours of installing thousand of packages, now I can run my codes without errors. I moved to Linux 2 days ago and used eclipse for Java. It’s a huge change tbh but I like Vscode a lot. What do you think of IntelliJ ?
