My Last 747 flight

30 years of flying the 747 has come to an end.

Such a special plane. The fact that it was produced for 50 years is astonishing. The fact that it will likely be flying cargo for at least another 40 years is also amazing.

I was on a pilots retirement flight. Obviously i had never even spoken to this man. But the feeling of success and pride was washed all over the aircraft. The miles and hours. Just amazing. Got the same feeling watching this. A bit sad. But mostly awesome

Man...😢. I know you're going to keep on flying -- flying the private jets, but it is sad to know (at least to me) that your 747 era has come to an end. It was nice that you thanked the builders and Boeing in this. The most beautiful and awesome non-military plane the world will ever know.
