Cancun’s BEST Adults-Only Resort…for the Price (RIU Latino Review)

Here is my review of the RIU Latino adults-only all-inclusive resort in Cancun, Mexico! I stayed here for 7 days in May 2024.

In this video I provide a tour of the property, show you ocean view vs. partial ocean view rooms (there’s also swim-out rooms at the RIU Latino), the food and restaurants, the 5 pools (including 2 swim-up bars and 5 waterslides) as well as the beach with that perfect turquoise blue Caribbean water and massive white sandy beach!

We recently stayed at Riu reggae over the new year holiday they had a big celebration and the food was great. We loved everything about it. We have a stay coming up at Riu Latino in a month when we booked we didn’t realize it was kind of far from Cancun, but nonetheless, we are still so excited! 😁

I stayed at the Riu Palace in Cabo and it was great and at that time you can hotel hop next door to Riu Santa Fe but I heard they don’t let you do that anymore.

I overall enjoy the Riu Hotel chains and have no complaints. They have different tiers so I agree with you if you want a cheap hotel or if you want to pay a little more. They have the best of both worlds 😊

You NEVER go into the pool of a swimup bar! There are a lot of people standing or sitting at the bar, drinking all the time who mysteriously never leave for the bathroom. I wonder why! 🤔 Yuck! 🤢

Good price!
Because airfare is cheaper from Atlanta to Cancun than Atlanta to Merida, and because I want to check out Tren Maya, Ill arrive in Cancun this coming Tuesday, then ride the Tren Maya to Merida. BUT, now that You posted this video, I may alter my travel plans. That assumes, Hurricane Beryl spares Cancun.

We stayed at the Riu in Negril, Jamaica a few years ago. Everything was fine except the food.

At $2000 Canadian during off-season the food should be better. Prices to Cancun have gotten way too expensive. I use to pay $2400 per person in January to go to the Excellence. Not they was $1000 more per person. Not going back.

Great video, the rooms look way above average for a RIU. Although the food seems typical for that chain, its always the biggest complaint.
