I think tri-fold is what foldables should have been, that screen size after unfold is the closest to a tablet screen. Kudos to Huawei i cant wait to see the improvements they'll do in the upcoming generations

Huawei reminds me of those professional chefs who innovate and cook despite limitations of ingredients and make brilliant dishes.

Been using my Mate XS Outward Foldable with no case for 8 months as my main driver and it is going strong even if I dropped it a couple of times! This new Mate XT is my new dream device! God Bless Us!

If a phone this ridiculously thin can fit wireless charging, other companies have no excuse not to include it in their’s. Huawei really pulled out all the stop with this one, impressive for sure. I’m so tired of the Samsung/apple duopoly here in the US

Aside from the durability, this is what folding screen technology has finally gotten right. Huawei deserves praise.

Not my cuppa but it is spectacular. Who says the Chinese only copy & cant innovate. Much like the Japanese & Korean experience, those days might be over & we're gonna see a spate of Chinese new tech. Their robots are amazing & ofcos, DJI rules the skys

I've been asking for this for 10 years. 👍🏾 This is what I envisioned when I first saw the Galaxy x foldables. The tri-fold design brings the laptop mode that I've been wanting for my phone... With one screen on the table and two in the air, it needs a kickstand, and you can use it as a small laptop. I even thought that it may be the end of the mechanical keyboard for laptops, the way new phone designs got rid of the mechanical keyboard for phones.

I am in China and have just bought this phone. It is fantastic! Battery life is actually really good, will easily do the day. I have not gone below 40% so far. There is a case included which protects that exposed screen when folded and it also includes a useful stand.

I've never been able to see a future for foldable smartphones until I saw this. Will watch closely going forward

I have a Fold 5 and had a Fold 2, got them both discounted and as cool as they are to me they weren't worth the MSRP. The Fold 6 especially isn't worth MSRP, but if this thing came to the EU for like 2500 euros I would almost too happily pay full price. This is maybe peak phone hardware up until now
