XDeep NX Project Steel Wing System

The xDeep NX Project Steel Wing System is a complete backplate, harness and wing system inspired by their divers with innovation in mind. Staying with a DIR setup in mind xDeep have made clever changes to make a newer modern backplate system.

Backplate
The backplate has a wider footprint to make it more ergonomic and comfortable. A wider shoulder section distributes weight better during the dive and reduces the load on your lumbar region. The X shape allows for better stability and more protection of your back than a traditional plate.

Harness
The harness is a single piece webbing harness but adds a level of comfort and adjustment. when unfastened the shoulder straps are 20% longer than a traditional setup so it's easier to put on and take off. The crotch strap is shaped like a Y with a single attachment loop at the front like normal which splits into two straps that attach to the backplate spreading tension and adding an extra D-ring.

Wing
The wing is more streamlined and lower profile compared to a standard wing design by reducing the dead zone under the cylinders. The inflator connects directly to the bladder without an elbow and the top section has been designed to improve airflow and reduce buoyancy so you stay nice and trim in the water and upright on the surface.
