So congress gave themselves a $75 thousand dollar a year raise? I'm 70 and got a 2.5 percent SSA raise -- yet I'm getting TWO DOLLARS LESS on my monthly pension because they raised the Medicare deductible so much. They even had the audacity to state that my monthly pension may "appear" less because of the Medicare deductible increase. APPEARANCE?! It IS less! I am blessed because I have a veteran's pension, but think of the multitudes who live on Social Security alone???!!!
