France Paris and Burkina Faso Ouagadougou in Africa relations has gone south following French president Emmanuel Macron speech to French ambassador. It is not just the French it is all leaders of the world, west and east. It is up to us as people of Africa to reject this disrespect they put on us by respecting ourselves. They do it deliberately to dehumanise Africans because they need to keep a narrative of a people who are poor and depend on the west to live. They know the reverse is true and if they do not manipulate the narrative their ability to exploit will be undermined. This kind of paternalistic attitude is done by the west in many ways and it is up to us to deny it. These are leaders that France gets its money for elections from. Macron and the west should just leave Africa alone. They do not need to help Africa. Africa can help itself. Why impose yourself where you are not wanted. There is no difference between the French and other western powers with their military in Africa. Macron shows himself for what he is. It does not mean the silent ones like German, UK, USA, Sweden, Switzerland etc.
