साखी' कबीरदास जी द्वारा रचित है। साखी में ज्ञानपूर्ण बातें छुपी हुई रहती हैं। साखी के माध्यम से कबीरदास जी ने साधारण जनसमूह को ज्ञान देने का प्रयास किया है। कबीर जानते थे कि ज्ञान से परिपूर्ण बातों को साधारण जनसमूह को समझाया जाए, तो उनके लिए उसे समझना कठिन होगा। उन्होंने साखियों का निर्माण किया ताकि ज्ञान की बातें साधारण जनसमूह को उनकी ही भाषा में आसान तरीके से समझाया जा सके। अपनी साखी में कबीरदास जी मनुष्य को अपनी वाणी को शीतल करने, ईश्वर को अपने अंदर ढूँढने, सच्चे मन से ईश्वर भक्ति करने, निंदा करने वाले को अपने समीप रखने, प्रेम करने, और मोह माया के बंधनों को तोड़ने के लिए प्रेरित करते हैं। इन साखियों में कबीरदास जी अपने दुख को भी दर्शाते हैं। उनके अनुसार ईश्वर मंदिर-मस्जिद में न होकर हमारे ह्दयों में वास करते हैं।
