Thanks for the video mate, great advice about managing what your 8 is doing, always helps if he know what he's doing too of course! But with some 'polite persuasion' and 'gentle nudging' like you explain that's going to free up the channels for making the pass that much easier, something I hadn't been utilising at all really. Will be sure to apply these tips at training and thanks again!

I'm playing 9 for the first time this afternoon. Definitely bricking it. This video has given me a lot of insight to the scrum. Hopefully I'll be able to use it.

That was choice as! I gained two-fold from this video: communication w/ 8 & 10 with or without a strong scrum and building on safe scrummaging when it twists! Great insight to building confidence in our front row schoolboy rugby at junior level.
Thank you heaps my Bro for helping me improve as a coach with this content!

Love this video. I wish I learned this in my early 20s. But I suppose we learn from our mistakes and improve as we grow.

Another great video. I am also interested in a video on what no 9s are allowed and not allowed to do to pressure one another.

Great advice, what do you think the best way to play at the scrum now in 2025, the defending number 9 has to stay in the centre and not behind the ball.

Is the number 8 allowed to flick the ball? Will we not be penalized for hands in the scrum? And thanks for the tips, I'm moving to the number 9 position and I needed this
