About the presenter:

Nabill Jacob is the Clinical Relationship Manager at Vision Australia. He has held posts of senior orthoptist at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney and corneal transplant coordinator at the Save Sight Institute at Sydney Eye Hospital. His interests lie in the advancement of services and clinical understanding in the area of low vision and blindness. He conducts accredited CPD sessions on low vision for ophthalmic registrars, orthoptists, optometrists, general practitioners and allied health professionals. He has also published low vision case studies in medical and optical journals. Mr Jacob is currently on the steering committee of the NSW Health Department’s Agency for Clinical Innovation (Ophthalmology Network), a project developing a resource for staff at public hospitals to enhance their understanding of the needs and treatment of patients who are vision impaired.
