*Honestly all of the predictions that the fandom had about Loona were right.. poor Loona*

It's rare the older kids get adopted in foster care so what Blitz did for Loona was actually really sweet. He saw a broken, misunderstood soul and tried to give her the love she needed even if he wasn't perfect 💯. Never amount to anything, that hit hard.

Watching this I got two things. One, it shows why Loona is still loyal to Blitz and hasn't left him yet, despite her tough girl attitude. She can't help it, because deep down she loves him for saving her from living on the streets.

And two, now I understand her deep rooted hatred towards Moxxie. Because he treats her not all that different than her caretakers did. He's not as cold and hard. But he calls her out on her crap and incompetence, which must trigger her something awful. Because he reminds her of her old life at the pound.

Poor Loona, the fact that Blitz first saw her and dispite her short temper and aggressive behaviour he still took her in and did everything to make her feel happy, comfortable around him and make her feel loved and wanted is really touching, he even called her his daughter in previous episodes. Loona may not show it, but we can tell she does care and relies on him (in her own way), Loona deserves to be loved, all she ever wanted was to feel accepted and not like an outcast.

Can we just talk about the fact that Loona doesn't even sleep on a bed?

Judging by the blanket and pillow on the desk, she sleeps on the desk. Meaning that she probably feels so unsafe sleeping on a bed that she'd rather sleep on a desk so she can presumably defend herself.

Either that or they crammed 3 kids in that cell even though we only see Loona and another hellhound.

Also just how she acted with that kid.

She gave him a warning, and only threw him against the wall when he decided to attack her, after which she just left him alone and started crying.

That isn't anger issues that's self defense, something which is only further proven by the fact that she cries after it.

She doesn't want to have to resort to that, but she has to so she doesn't get hurt.

No wonder Loona’s so angry all the time, after seeing this I don’t blame her.

This might be the saddest backstory i have seen so far. Makes me wish blitz found her as a pup

No wonder she’s so aggressive towards everyone around her.

Theory: Blitzo lied about what he did with Verosika's money (he didn't take riding lessons), he instead used the money to adopt Loona to be a happy family with Verosika, but then the relationship went to hell.

To see Blitz getting serious while acting just because of a girl asking to adopt the puppy in act, That's what you call a painfull and a real flashback. I feel bad for blitz that Loona literally kicked and slapped blitz away while bliz trying to be friendly to her.

The level of detail in this simple flashback is absolutely heart renching. From the living conditions of the hounds, the the way the seller talks about these kids like they're just pets. You can almost see how long Lunas been there from the tally marks on the walls and how her little bed looks personalized. The way she shrinks back into her corner as the lady talks about her aging out, the slow almost loving caress of her wall... this was her home. Her prison. I can't imagine how scared she was to age out and be forced out of what we assume was the only place she could call home. I'm glad blitz found her and gave her a loving home. Even if she acts tough you can tell it means alot to her.

I think it's genius how they portray the foster system as a pound. It shows how children are treated as animals and the struggle of never finding a family.

"What a nightmare"

She was CLEARLY defending herself. I get that this is Hell, but she only lashed out because she was in danger herself.

This backstory is so heart wrenching I burst into tears this was just such a amazing episode

As someone who was a teen in foster care, I know exactly how Loona feels.

And it's exactly why I decided if I ever changed my mind about having kids, I'd adopt a kid whose age is in the double digits.

What makes me love that Blitz adopted her was because he didn’t need someone to love..

He saw that Loona needed love

God that scene broke me. To see a character who always acts so tough, looking so broken. Brought me to tears.

Frick, no wonder Loona sometimes smiles when Blitz gives her validation. She needs it
