William J. Dobson, Politics and Foreign Affairs Editor at Slate, spoke at the 7th annual Salzburg Academy on Media and Global Change.
He discussed many of the themes from his recent book, "The Dictator's Learning Curve", with the group of approx. 70 international students.
He also hosted a question and answer session where students were able to get an exclusive look at what goes on behind the scenes at major news journals (Newsweek, Foreign Policy, Slate, etc).
Afterwards, Stephen Salyer, President of the Salzburg Global Seminar, interviewed Will Dobson authoritarian rule, the Arab Spring, Russia, and the "Salzburg Effect".
