You didn't write to validate DoB. With sample validation you'd presented, if someone take today's date as DoB, or future date, your form is going to accept. Just because it enforce user to insert a correct date format, you call it date validation?

I wanted to make as few changes as possible to the authors original work but some things were either irrelevant or outdated according to 2017 HTML and Javascript standards. This was a good tutorial to begin thinking about form validation but I'm not sure it would work in real life.
