A band of snow showers drifted through East Tennessee on Saturday, dropping an inch of the white stuff on parts of Knox County.
Snow began to fall Saturday morning and picked up steam around 11 a.m. in Knoxville. By noon, the bulk of it had fallen, blanketing the ground, covering vehicles and rendering some roads treacherous.
