Wow - not sure what to say. Alex is my favorite singer of the moment. However, this Whitney song missed the mark for me. Whitney’s songs are for a particular voice, and even then, the voice has to be able to work magic. Glennis Grace out of the Netherlands is the only one in the world who can currently sing Whitney and hit the notes just like the original studio version - and she does it live! And to think: Alex is one of my favorites. (I mean we have Aretha, Whitney, Kelly Price and Alex! And LeAndrea Johnson) That’s how stellar I think Alex is. Her storytelling is through the roof. But this damn Whitney song seemed to escape her.
