The wings on ragnarok/roktavor are meant to decrease the other beyblades stamina by scraping over the edge of the layer, you can only notice it when using same spin beys

Speaking of Greatest Raphael, It kinda works, it makes the layer rounder as it's supposed to do still yeah those "baskets" May backfire it too but it isn't that bad when compared to other beys you mentioned

I feel like to properly say if the gimmicks actually backfire, you can't just look at the stock combo. With wyvern, if it had a driver with decent lad, or honestly any driver other than just that was defense or stamina, the layer's spin steal gimmick would be much more effective. And with the bound layer section, while i do agree that with genesis valtryek, it was more of a hindrance than a help, in db/bu, it's a very very good gimmick when used in the correct ways. When you put the valkyrie core, or dragon core on an attack type ring, it may still hit hard, but not nearly as hard as it would with a normal core, or ones like perseus, and belial 2/3, and they are much mroe susceptible to bursting with those cores, unlike something like the kerbeus core, which has rubber stoppers. The main use for these types of cores, is on defense, and maybe stamina rings!. Defense types usually have very bulky rings, and good defense, as the name states, and when you pair good defense, with a gimmick that pushes back against an attacking beyblade, it pretty much negates most of the clicks the attacker would've gotten, because the spring loaded gimmick works like it does! Most of the other points i agree with though, with mirage's ring being a hindrance to it, with the self bursts, the wheels just being pointless gimmicks, and the lock reverse gimmicks being so cool in concept, and so useless in practice. The worst gimmick is definitely killer deathsyther since it's gimmick doesn't do anything and it hinders its attack power.

All the other gimmicks do work great just that the combos, burst resistance, and shapes ruin the beyblade for example the just driver ruins Jet Wyvern not even letting it show of its gimmick. The bound gimmick needs high burst resistance and works better for defense than attack, reason why Hazard Kerbeus isn't that good both the shape and drivers burst resistance makes it burst easier.

Actually a friend of mine who has heaven pegasus and some other friends of ours did a battle royal and he purposely hand spun and made it to almost the last click. But when me and the others launched our beys. We all lost! And then we checked if it work AND IT DID we were so amazed!

Actually, wizard fafnir's bad burst resistance comes down to the rubber's shape.

Even with the updated mold, this still remains as a bad fafnir layer as its the most recoily fafnir. Theres a bump at the end of the dragons there which creates its downfall.

How I would fix the gimmicks:
Make deathscythers moving pice metal
Make genesis/god valkrye have stronger springs and better teeth
Make the rubber softer and the teeth better on fafnir
On satomb I don’t know how to make it better. Maybe make the wheels larger or add more
Yeah… variant is a lost cause…
Noting wrong with ragaruk, s wings. Their just useless so I would probably give them a new gimmick.
And lastly, make Wyverns layer actually freespin and make its driver not useless.

It is weird how your narrating voice seemed like it's intended for family-friendly narration but then you start cursing away. Should've just changed the words instead of editing a bleeping sound to censor it.

fun fact: if you tilt launch a bey with the Loop driver from kreis Satan, it will actually jump as high as the stadium wall. I know it will lose stamina drastically, but at least it's fun to watch it dive attack the other bey lol
