The screws on my 4xl are very tiny torx screws. The torx size is T3.

Hi, thank you for your video! My battery is actually still great but I have a sensor problem. The phone says "problem reading battery sensor". I read another comment that this problem will get fixed by replacing the battery. But would it also possible to only change the sensor? Because my battery easily lasts 2 days (before I got this problem with the battery sensor). Thanks for the info!

My pixel 4xl just stopped working last week, it was fine during the day then at night it was black screen and wouldn't turn on. Do you think it's the battery? I'm tempted to try replacing it because I'm a tight arse haha

Opps? Followed your process, very clear and simple but unfortunately now only the front (selfie)camera is working, I've double checked that I have reconnected the back cover plug and it seems to be firmly in place. The torch function is also now 'unavailable' as it says that the camera is using it? Have you any ideas? The rest of the phone is now back fully functioning perfectly.

OMG that battery connector is a pain..you are not simply lying the connector from the battery into the connector there is actually a physical plug, very hard to see. push the connector down you'll feel it grab make sure you hold that cover piece in place or it will unplug itself. Put the teensiest screw on top back in first, then the one on the other side and last the two larger ones. If that connector is not plugged in right you'll get the flashing battery so if you got that likely it isn't properly plugged in at the connector my replacement battery came with half charge making sure it charges all the way up before I close up the back. There are some larger than oem batteries available for same price as the original equipment shop carefully.

After replacing the battery, everything seems good except the new battery won't charge. It is not the charger or the connection. Any idea why this is? Did I get a dud battery?
