I have the iphone x, after going through a very hot bath in the washing machine, fair to say it has water damage. The phone has a dead black screen, but when I get a text, it still makes a sound, or when I get a call still rings, it even make a sound when I plug in the charger chord. Apple wont touch it, my local phone repair shop wont touch it. is there any hope for this phone? or do I now have a $1300 paper weight? I been trying to find a way to turn it off, but like I said, the screen is dead and I cant see anything.
