Departing from LGAV via 03R following the SID KOR1E is amazing! You can see both the suburbs in Athens all the way to the sea and the old LGAT airport of Athens. Great job guys keep it up!

That headwind really started picking up around FL 250 and the climb performance kept decreasing as the headwind increased, 84kts once you were at cruise altitude. Reminded me a little of some Concorde video's where they were climbing in the FL 500+ range. Performance would frequently drop due to the air temp increasing just a couple degrees. That had a larger impact on lift and engine performance given the speed and altitude they were at. Fairly different factors on your flight compared to the Concorde but interesting to see the same end result. Great video, thanks!

Danke für dieses tolle Video. Gefühlt fand ich das als Außenstehender etwas stressig, der Funk, die Bodencrew, die Procedures, halt alles gefühlt auf einmal und wie schnell man sich verhört sah man an der Air Canada und der Catary, die beide nicht das gemacht haben, was der Controller wollte. Toll zu sehen, wie entspannt ihr trotz allem dabei bleibt. Erinnern Sie sich noch an meine Frage zum Alternate Fuel? Bei diesem Flug haben sie es nicht angepasst und den Wert von der FCDU akzeptiert. Mein Flieger berechnet im Simulator immer weniger, als der OFP dafür angibt. Ich passe das immer dem OFP an, habe dann aber schon öfters eine "insufficient Fuel" Message bekommen. Also für mich ein total interessantes Thema. Weiterhin ein schönes Wochenende und Danke fürs mitnehmen 🙂

Very nice views from your office :) That ATIS sounded very robotic with an US American accent. Strange pronunciation of Quebec "Kayback" Here at Maastricht Aachen Airport EHBK we have also a US American accent ATIS, but with female voice, which is very good to understand.

A question you don’t have to answer; many Eurowings flights are fairly lengthy short haul, how do you keep yourself casually occupied in the cruise outside of your responsibilities?

Hallöchen :) Ich habe mich wieder riesig über das Video gefreut. Soweit ich weiß macht man doch einen Flexstart nur um der Maschine eine Temperatur vorzugaukeln die es aber gar nicht hat. Mich würde daher mal interessieren, ob es auch eine Situation ohne Flexstart gibt? Natürlich wieder vielen Dank für das Video, viele Grüße aus dem schönen Aschaffenburg und happy landings :)
