All-female fire crew serves in Gresham

Gresham Fire can't say it's the first all-female crew, but it's not common and this time it happened by chance.

On Dec. 18, three women were assigned to work on an engine with Gresham Fire for a 24-hour shift.

I am a trained firefighter, from Scandinavia. Used to work as a firefighter on an oil rig.
These women have absolutely ZERO chance, of dragging a 250lbs, unconcious man out of a burning building.
Not even the three of them combined are able to do that.

I was almost 235 lbs pure muscle myself, when I was younger, and I had to get an unconsious, 250 lbs man out of danger.
It was so heavy, so hard and took EVERY ounce of strength that I had!
I spent 3 days in bed after it, due to my entire body aching from the stress.

These women cannot do that.
Especially not, when also carrying 60 lbs of equipment and smoke diver's gear.
- Political correctness and feminism has become nothing but a huge cringe.

99.9 percent of the time it won't matter. These women will do the job every bit as well as their male colleagues. I have nothing against them and thank them for their service.

The whole country and world economy just got shut down on those same odds though.
