How to milk a cow in the morning

This is how cows are milked in Northern Ghana.

Milking is usually done in the morning by women. They enter the craal, identify the breadfeeding cows, sack their claves, tie a rope around the legs of the cow and start to press the nipples thereby making the milk to drop into the container on their laps.

Afterwards, the rope is untied and the claves can start suckling again. It's a nice scene to observe and to see how expertly the women do the milking job.
