12:51 (Original) - Krissy and Ericka Official Music Video

It took 2 years to finally finish this song, and this was probably how long it took me to move on and forget about the guy i wrote this for haha! I actually wrote this at exactly 12:51 am, hence the title. The lyrics reflect pretty much how I was feeling at that time and somehow every now and then I'd still find myself feeling this way - sad!

Yeah, perhaps the mood is a bit emo but my sister and I find it the most heartfelt of all the songs we sung and we dedicate this especially for all the girls out there for the upcoming Valentine's day!

"12 years ago" well the first time I heard this was on national television (specifically MYX) and my mind was blown, and I could say this song also inspired me to be a musician and a songwriter and write songs on my former band "TiDE" (although we just disbanded a few years ago). This is one of the "epic bittersweet" songs I've listened to back in the day when the Beatles and Elvis Presley still wasn't introduced to me, and I LOVE THIS SONG with all my heart. The simple but lush-sounding orchestral arrangement (which made a huge impact on the song), the acoustic guitars that had that melancholic feeling, the vocals which were heartfelt. This song aged like fine wine. It sounded as fantastic as it was released 12 years ago.
