📍 What is Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point?
Lookout Cay is Disney’s exclusive 700-acre retreat located on the southern tip of Eleuthera island. Unlike Castaway Cay, it’s not a private island but a dedicated area offering a mix of developed amenities and preserved natural beauty.

Pier Access: Unlike other private islands, cruisers can walk directly ashore.
Mabrika Cove: A half-mile walk from the ship; accessibility transfers are limited.
Tram Service: 10-minute ride from Mabrika Cove to Goombay Cultural Center, where most facilities are located.
🌟 Highlights of Lookout Cay:

Mabrika Cove: Features family cabanas, Mangroves & Go (specialty coffee), and Turbot Berth (boat rentals).
Goombay Cultural Center: Central hub with dining, bars, shopping, and the Gathering Tree for excursions.

Sebastian's Cove: Themed youth area for ages 3-10.
Nature Trail: Leads to the iconic lighthouse with discovery trail signs.
🍽️ Food & Drink:

Complimentary BBQ: True-True BBQ, True-True Too BBQ, and Serenity Bay BBQ offer a variety of grilled items and local dishes.
Bars: Four bars including Blue Hole (adults-only), offering signature drinks like the Eleuthera Euphoria and Butterfly Switcha.
Drink Stations: Free soda and water stations throughout the island.
💸 Extra Activities:

Shore Excursions: Various tours including snorkeling, eco-tours, and boat rentals.
Cabana Rentals: Family and adult-only cabanas with prices ranging from $523 to $1300.
Shopping: Exclusive Disney and Bahamian merchandise at Disney T'ings and Treasures of Eleuthera.

Whether you're a first-time cruiser or a Castaway Club member, Lookout Cay offers a new paradise to explore. Just got back from a cruise that went to both Castaway and Lookout. Early August. While I love both, I think I like Lookout better. Castaway seems more contrived. Also I like there are real waves at Lookout. And the bucket drop and slide is on land using fresh water, so better for kids. (Castaway requires swimming out to deep water to experience theirs). I like the beauty of the limestone cliffs. The vegetation is already starting to fill in and much of it was in bloom. And the flies were gone. They must have sprayed.

Eleuthera itself is an awesome place to visit. Rock sound, Governor’s Harbour, glass window bridge, preachers cave, french leave beach….Lighthouse point used to be a great place to visit but now you’re not allowed to go unless you’re on the cruise. Quite sad to see what Disneys done.

Wish the bars & restaurants had different looks to them instead of being a carbon copy of each other. Wish Disney had a pool available for those that don’t want to swim in the ocean. I believe every other cruise line private island has some sort of pool option. The flys & the long walk from the pier seem to be problematic.

Thanks for the great video. My family is DCL Gold and we were very excited about this new private island but Lookout Cay just seems like a woke, unshaded, hot mess. So many issues-Not to mention the tons of flies around the buffet-that I won't be going on a DCL cruise with this as a stop. It reminds me of the Tom Hanks movie "Castaway" - Hot and boring.

Did you notice a difference between the family cabana beach and the other? The family cabana beach looks like it may get rough at time
