After all this hardship, we definitely need to see a video of the boat running across the water when ita finished.

That thing is definitely cursed. I think you need to invite a priest/pastor over to exorcise the demons from it 😂

The only way to make that huge cam work with water jacketed headers is to run ONLY through the the water jacket and then use the old shot gun water sleeves that inject water at the very end of the exhaust. If you run it this way, water truly isn’t inside the exhaust until the very end of the exhaust tip. Water will not pull back if you have 3.5 to 4 feet of pipe upwards to the actual exhaust port on the head. Before I get roasted for saying this, I’ve had 18 boats both jet boats and stern drive with between 800 to 2100 hp. Trust me when I say I blew 6 motors in 1 summer learning this the hard way. If you run it the way I’m saying, it’s almost replicates a dry exhaust on the inner side of the tubes. Hope it helps man!!! Love your videos.

9-11 bless all the families who lost a loved one that day.

I replaced quite a few Volvo Penta 7.4L (GM 454) engines in fishing boats back in the 90s due to water revision. Too much cam overlap & short exhaust runners resulted in water filled cylinders eventually if idled (or just off idle) too long, which most of these boats did because of their use trolling for fish. Probably replaced 8-10 one summer.

I chuckle every time watching you just stroke and rub on the intake cover. Have you ever noticed how you do that everytime your around one of your covers? It could almost be misconstrued as something else. 😂🎉😂🎉😂 lol

Seeing this thing running across the lake in a boat will make it all worth it.

I wish I were as level headed and patient as you are.
Thanks for sharing!
