Hello everyone!

We are focusing today's video on two main things: Christmas and content!

Over the last few weeks, we have come to realise that due to the amount of time creating content takes, we need to find a way to make it financially viable for us. We considered many options, but in the end decided to go with starting a Patreon account. If you wish to support us on Patreon, you can do so here:

We went with Patreon because unlike other ideas we discussed, Patreon actually allows us to give something back to you in return for supporting our channel. Although our page on there is less than a week old, I have already populated it with some blog posts, photos and bonus videos as one thing I want to make absolutely certain of is that I want to make sure anyone who supports us on there gets value for money! I have many other posts planned for the coming days and weeks too!

So, the second part of today's video is making Christmas tree embeds. Yes, I know it is July, but our wholesale customers are ordering their Christmas lines now and we need to be included!

We are also hoping to obtain some Christmas PR this year and many magazine are already sending out requests for ideas for their gift guides, that means we need our Christmas soaps ready now!

The Christmas tree embeds are scented in "Christmas Tree" by Candleshack - oh my, what a gorgeous scent it is too! Just like a pine forest!

We hope that you enjoy today's video and that you will consider joining us on Patreon if you are able to - I must admit to being rather nervous about today's video going live!

If you enjoy our videos and soap making tutorials please do give us a like and subscribe :-) We will be uploading new videos every Friday and possibly the odd midweek bonus video here and there! You can also follow us and find our soaps here:

If you do head over to our website, we offer our Youtube friends 20% off purchases if you enter code "youtube20" at checkout :-)

It seemed like you were a bit nervous to break the Patreon news but honestly, I think people understand how much work it is to make videos. Your channel is super educational and entertaining (so so helpful for those of us in the UK, seriously!) you really shouldn't worry! Unfortunately I am poor and can only afford the lowest tier, but still 😅

Hello Anne (I hope I've spelled that correctly, I use the Anne of Green Gables spelling). So much effort with these Christmas trees and a pity that your cookie cutter has rusted. Have you considered getting a column mold? You'd have just the one colour for the tree with a vertical pour, or an embed mold like those that Lisa from I Dream in Soap makes would work well for using multiple colours. Just a thought <3

Same day I'm watching this, I also made some Christmas Soaps!

Great looking trees 😍 you are so patient with those embeds. I use column silicone mold, I'm not patient at all ;-)

There are some great cleaners that will get rid of the rust, try pink stuff, it's a shame to throw away a perfectly good cutter 🙂
