►Microsoft reveled that it is building on top of Bitcoin on a layer 2 solution for DID (Decentralized Identifiers). This didn't seem THAT important until I took a look at the story BEHIND the story. Also, India and Russia are making SUPER AGGRESSIVE moves to ban ALL CRYPTOCURRENCIES in their countries and why I believe this is GOOD NEWS moving forward (as long as we are ready for it!)

EMP is ridiculous. States allowing crypto, untill they get the development they need, then shutting down the rest....that is the only concern.

I like the idea of “independence from central banks” that crypto currencies promess, but there is always the possibility that someone will have the key to the program, and I trust nobody!
That being said I think diversification is important, so having land, metals, regular money, crypto currencies, etc., is a good preventive idea in my mind.

Yeah but what are DIDs linked too? It has to be physical, like a person at an address who confirms their DID using physical means like a letter sent with a code to confirm their DID address.
The security problem now jumps to those letters and codes.
Would that be more of less secure?

Bitcoin being 'banned' is actually a 'feature' of the crypto. Fiat currencies will always try to ban a 'harder' alternative.

The nice thing about Bitcoin is that it doesn`t need interest rates. Be succesfull you win, fail and it is gone. You ask about India. If one guy has the severs to run a node he is successfull, if he fails he stops working.
