Transforming our Guest Room into a Cottage Core DREAM! #shorts

We want guests to come over and feel really welcome, so we are starting our house with our guest room! The vibe is cottage core meets a French chateau. Think lux but approachable and a little stately ha! This room is going to evolve fast, but we’d love your ideas and input! We actually painted this room pink, and then dark green, and then landed on this soft green, it was QUITE the journey.

Option 1. The yellow in it would really go well with the green in your room and draw everyone's eyes towards it.

Option 1 or 3. Option 3 reminds me a bit more of your inspo and the Versaille aspect you're going for. Option 1 is more cottage core.

Edit: I actually think Option 1. Option 3 is too harsh of a cut. It won't be as smooth of a transition between wallpaper and floor.

I REALLY love number 1. Just the dreamy, water colour look & the image in the distance is beautiful. I’m from the UK & it very much reminds me of a beautiful forest I have nearby my house 🥰💗 x

Mmm hard desicion i think 1 the trees are like completing the collor of the room but 2 have more a different aprouch and alot can be combined with it and 3 is inspiring especially with the decorations what is fitting but its very litarrly i think all 3 work very well but if i see your inspo i think 1 is the closest to your moodboard and what you explained but all are beautiful

Honestly, I'm leaning towards Option 3, it's absolutely beautiful and I think it would compliment the walls' color and in a way bring the room together.

Love Option 1 it's similar to 3 but I personally prefer without the building on the wallpaper

Option 1 is my favorite as it lends it self to that antique pastoral vibe, BUT since the wall in question seems a bit on the dark side (doesn't receive a lot of direct light), option 2 might brighten the space better; it's also more neutral and could lend itself better to pops of color.
