YUNGBLUD - Don’t Feel Like Feeling Sad Today - Old Guy Reaction

Yungblud in his song "Don't Feel Like Feeling Sad Today is a fun song.
I like Yungblud. I like that he sings about his feelings and can identify with others. It helps others feel like they are not alone.
This song has a great title. It seems as if being sad or happy is a choice. You can choose to be sad today or you can choose to be happy today.

You can clearly see that no matter how Yungblud woke up that day and all the other people in the audience....they were choosing to be happy for the 2 minutes of this song.

Great song....too short.

My favorite reactions are yours to Yung Blud's. Your reactions are very truthful and honest, I wish my parents could have perspectives that you have.

I’ll have depression forever. I’m likely bipolar and deal with cptsd. This song can almost induce a manic episode from the deepest depths of depression for me. It’s incredible really I’ve never had something that could snap me out of it before.

As a fellow "old head" as my son likes to say, I appreciate your open attitude to new music. This comment isn't related to this video, but in thinking about my son, he's off at school playing his sport, and you may or may not have seen the news about the murder in LA of the rapper PnB Rock. I'm not sure calling him a rapper is accurate, but if not for my son's playlist, I probably wouldn't have heard of him either. A few years ago, I developed a fondness for the song "Middle Child", which was a duet he did with another famous rapper XXXtentaction, although again, I think old guys would say these guys were rappers, but you can tell that they are doing something that's not rap the way I used to think of it. Sadly both of these young men were murdered while being robbed. The video for "Middle Child" has a melancholy feel to it, as it was made after XXXTentacion had been killed, when at the time he was certainly one of the most popular musical artists of the time. I thought you might be interested in checking it out, given the timing. I will warn that language is very raw, like most of the music in the genre. Another song from this time I like is Polo G Feat Lil Tjay - Pop Out. A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie - My Shit is incredibly catchy. These videos collectively have a half billion views just on Youtube, so you can imagine how popular this music is with the kids these days.
