Midsekai is a pairing of two sources that I am very passionate about--Midsommar and Shin Sekai Yori.
Midsommar was one of my favorite movies of 2019. I highly recommend it to horror fans and those who are looking for a unique take on the genre. The same thing goes for Shin Sekai Yori. It's such a great show and I've always wanted to edit to it, so this became the perfect outlet.
I made this within the week before AWA's Expo deadline and I'm really happy with the result. I've been meaning to create another trailer as well. So, all in all this was a very fruitful and fun project to work on!
