Dr. Nestor Espinoza explains the Fine Guidance Sensor/Near Infrared Imager and Slitless Spectrograph (FGS/NIRISS) instrument aboard NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope can see near-infrared light. He shares his journey to become a scientist and helpful things to know if you want to pursue a career in STEM, too. Nestor is an astrophysicist currently working at the Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore, Maryland.
