Love Madrigal....what a build up!! in the 80s My friend and I would head over to Curry's electrical store at lunch time where they would have several Yamaha PSS/PSR keyboards on display, we would play Madrigal Meridian for the whole hour, often with a captive audience of shoppers, the shop owner even liked us playing as it was like a free keyboard demo for his hardware. Now you would get chucked out for being a nuisance.

Why this album is so good and that after decades I keep coming back to it, is one of my life most precious mysteries.
And here I go again, to feel the great dark mystic 70´s again, a flavor of life and visions all over the world that will never die.

I hated this album at first. It took a long time but now I absolutely love it. Without doubt a grower but when it finally clicks…

I bought this album when it hit UK stores in 78, it wasn't one of my favourites, but now I wish I'd kept it, as I used to have all their vinyl releases, but sadly sold them on to replace them with CD, big mistake! Big thank you Richard, this is a superb upload, crystal clear.

My fav Tangerine Dream record mainly because of Steve Jolliffe. My fav parts are the sequencer parts at 4.30 with Jolliffe's flute and that whole section from 33.50 to the end (esp 34.08 to 34.13)... just pure sugar to my ears... feels like the sun creeping through grey clouds... the Hohner clavinet makes for a great harpsichord sound...Froese was so hard on this album.. but it's great...
