Problem is when a child or teen lies, there are no consequences to teach them and they don't see a problem with what they did . There have been cases where the truly innocent accused have ended themselves because their lives are absolutely destroyed and nothing happens to the accuser

Last story. NTA This is a perfect example of the folly of biting the hand that feeds you. OP, if you are reading this, know that she has no right to judge you. You are far from a deadbeat; you play an incredibly positive and active role in your child's life and maintain an excellent co-parenting arrangement with the child's father.

Her bitterness over her own husband being an actual deadbeat is being unfairly redirected at you, and it is neither fair nor acceptable. Inform those giving you a hard time exactly what was said. Let them know that if they are so concerned, they can take over. However, you will not tolerate being disrespected by her after all the help you have extended. You will not be cast as the villain simply because she is jealous and bitter over your successful co-parenting arrangement with your ex.

The false allegations in the first story - how should the wife have handled it so her husband's life wouldn't be ruined if false. And she should have known there was a good chance of that! I've read so many stories of that happening! Plus, it took down her marriage!
