This is a video about a Miltonidium Orchid, which is a cross between a Miltonia and a Oncidium. They get the great fragrance of Miltonia and the hardiness of Oncidium.

Hi, it depends on the intergeneric itself, some may not tolerate sun and heat as well as others, like the case of Burrageara Nelly Isler. Most of them though do need bright light and enjoy the morning sun. I think you can try to find a spot that will give bright light and maybe only evening sun and see how it does, usually Oncidiums do well outside and can tolerate higher temperatures. The black spots may be due to over exposure to sun and water drops on the leaves, they are prone to it.

I say Wow too. Oh, can you make another short video on this one and zoom in on the flower. Oncidium has such flower that stimulate imagination. I have one blooming named "Space Co Co" I try to decide whether it look like a dancing lady or a flying angel. Anyway, thank you for sharing:)

I just bought an Intergeneric yesterday with beautiful shades of pale orange. It does have some black spots on a few of the lower leaves. It is on a front porch facing West here in Florida. A phaleonopsis did not do so well and got sun damage to one of the leaves. Do you believe that the Oncidium Intergeneric will do better outside or indoors in this Florida climate that sometimes reaches just over 90 degrees C. during the day?

Dani, am I supposed to cut off the spike where the flowers once bloomed?  Or just leave it until it turns brown?
