Fun fact: Mikey use to whisper "disenchanted" in the band members ears while they slept until Gerard agreed to put the song on the album.
And I'm really glad Mikey loved the song enough to do that. Cause it's now my Favorite MCR song.

I can't imagine how many lives MCR has saved. I remember days when everything seemed so dark and gloomy, like existence didn't matter. And that was when bands like MCR and Linkin Park gave me strength, gave me hope, gave me a reason to live to see another day. And though I'll admit, I don't listen to them as much as I used to, sometimes not at all, but they will always stay close to my heart. The world may be ugly, but they are beautiful to me.

I am 45 years old and my 25 yr old daughter was OBSESSED with MCR. I took her to see them in 2013ish and met Gerard Way. He was so polite, such a sweet soul. I could see white aura around him... he's a pure man who genuinely loves the fans. And is so grateful. I'll never forget how good he was to us that night. And the time he took hanging out with us. I love you Mr Way ❤

I heard they Mikey used to whisper "disenchanted" in Gerards ear when he was sleeping because he really wanted Disenchanted to be on the album. I'm not sure if this is correct though.

Still here. MCR and the stage was slowly killing him. He was killing himself for us, because he loved us and the music so much but it just...was too much for him. I spoke to him on the phone once- he is one of the gentlest, most passionate, sweetest men I have ever met. He is happy, and best of all healthy, being an artist and a father.
