In Sweden, our PM berated the people for the lack of care and unwillingness to follow the recommendations. He expressed the dire need for unity and sacrifice. I fundamentally disagree with our PM, but the leadership putting their foot down (7 months too late, but still) was certainly needed to get control and adjust our broken strategy. The only problem with the PM's speech to the nation was the lack of self-retrospection. The lack of criticism against his own government, the health institute and the officials that has formed a pseudo-scientific strategy that we have applied since the beginning of the pandemic.
