Even though we try our best to match adopters with our available pets, it doesn’t always work out as we hope 😔

4-year-old Kya is a sweet girl with lots of playful energy and was adopted by a well meaning family, but in the end they realized they didn’t want such an energetic pup 🥺

Now, Kya is back at our shelter, but she is looking so defeated 💔 Kya is usually a very happy girl who loves to play, especially with other dogs! She also loves children and would make a great addition to an active family or to anyone looking for a friendly adventure buddy ❤️

Sorry, but people should be more responsible when adopting an animal..the trauma of a returned dog it's really damaging and very difficult to overcome for them..these aren't plush!😡
The sorrow of a dog when it gets put back in that lonely, small, noisy kennel isn't a joke..
Really disappointed on these adopters, sorry, think harder and longer before taking a dog (or cat)home, read their bio, ask questions and be prepared to put in some work, and if aren't..JUST DON'T ADOPT!

This has to be the most devastating thing to happen to a dog, to be promised a forever home and then have it taken away. Some people should not be pet parents, even if they believe they have good intentions.
