10th December:- HUMAN RIGHTS DAY
The government should explore ways to offer gig workers benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans and social security. I don't know if this is being done, but companies should form a group of gig workers periodically to voice their concerns because baseline wages are essential for them.

10th december is also Universal Human Rights Day, declared by UN in 1948 which led to the UDHR being adopted

For the gig workers, we could have the same system as US, keeping a minimum wage rate for workers. The Central Gov could help by fixing these minimum wage rates according to prevailing market standards, and then apply certain rules and laws to regulate and ensure that these wages are paid.

government could legislate laws to ensure equal, minimum, regular wages for gig workers. Government should also make sure that the employers or companies give gig workers basic facilities like medical insurance. Gig workers could also make several unions like that of labour unions to demand for better wages and facilities they need.
