I have three of these jackets now. Outstanding pieces of great for hiking and biking and camping.

I used this jacket a second layer underneath my woodsman shirt during my trip to Namibia in African wintertime. It was ideal for that purpose because a) it kept me warm during early morning safari rides and it allowed me to move easily on the open topped 4x4s, b) it is light and doesn‘t need much room in a daypack especially when it is stowed in its bag and c) the fabric didn‘t make too much noise which is good when watching wildlife. Temperatures went down close to freezing point.
