I really like that machine of yours. I have an older bobcat S185 that I use around here. It's a good machine but there are a few things that I wish were different on it.

1. Mine doesn't have high-flow so I wouldn't be able to use a mulcher like what you have with it.
2. Mine is a wheeled skid steer rather than tracks. I think the tracks would work better for my needs.
3. Mine is not an enclosed cab. An enclosed cab would be nice not only for the A/C, but also for dust that gets kicked up, especially when it's as dry as it is here in north/central Florida.

Take care and God bless!

Hank, the area where I was raised in Southeast Missouri is reclaimed swamp. The reclaiming was done largely in the 1920’s. Check out Little River Drainage if interested. Anyway a common practice back in the day (and it is still used by loggers) is to build a log road. You may have to do multiple layers of logs to get it solid and high enough to stay out of the mess of the swamp.

🏠 I was waiting to hear more about what you're thinking should be done with the house and how to deal with it.

I'm surprised that there is anything left of that blue tarp. Between the sun and the storms that we get here, tarps don't last long.

Howdy Hank! Was just wondering if you prefer the skid loader door that opens out like on the bobcat or something like the one that lifts up on the inside of the cab. It seems like the one the opens out would be a pain when loader is always in the way and not being able to have door open when using it if you would like to get some fresh air. 🏠 as usual, good video and take care.

If you ever go back into Wooley Swamp well you better not go at night
There's things out there in the middle of them woods
That'd make a strong man die from fright
There's things that crawl and things that fly
And things that creep around on the ground
And they say the ghost of Lucius Clay gets up and he walks around

Come on Hank, you already know the answer how to put a road through a swamp, clean to the end of solid ground then have hundreds or thousands of triaxles of 73 crushed with fines driven by skilled drivers spread the road as they back onto the newly dropped in road. It should be about 2 grand per triaxle so only a BAJILLION dollars to make a perimeter road.
