Göbleki tepe was, according to turkish archeologists, covered with full purpose by someone.
Now this is a fact, like many other ancient sites, they were covered with sand in the hope to prevent more severe destruction.

My personal opinion that people are afraid to believe that has a human species today we were particularly manufactured from original human species available at the time.
