I went on TV and gave away junk

JUNK GIFTS: I was asked to come in and talk on breaky TV about Backyard Adventuring. I said sure, but why don’t I have a Backyard Adventure instead? I’ll run around Sydney with my wheelbarrow and collect up junk wood, make stuff, and present it to the TV presenters on air the following morning, 24 hours later. So that’s what I did.

Early that morning i was on my way to hospital with my wife, she was ready to pop and about to give birth, I was sitting in the car ponding on life and all the things ahead and I notice a guy running up King Street with a wheelbarrow. I had only recently watched all your films and I thought, that has to be Beau! Sure enough it was, thats me yelling from the car at the 14 minute mark, on my way to hospital with my wife about to give birth.
Later that day i was sitting in the labor ward with my wife who was holding my lovely daughter and I looked at her and said, " I just cant believe I saw Beau today!!"

Because of these videos (the original wombled wood paddle video) I now collect wood from around Amsterdam and make stuff in my free time. The first thing I made was a bench from palettes and and old plank. It sits proudly outside of my house.

Beau, you are such an inspiring soul. Im an 18 y/old bloke, currently in a gap year, not knowing what to do or choose, kinda lost and just trying a bunch of new and old stuff. Im a 36 year old American male and Beau makes me giggle like a little girl every time I see his videos.
