"Welina.

I wrote the title track Ka ʻUhane Hemolele (Kahiau) in English about 7 years ago. However, about 7 months ago, I added a bridge, and changed part of the verses and then translated it into Hawaiian.

The title track is the one that I sing, but I also collaborated with YouTube ʻukulele internet star, Corey Fujimoto. He added ʻukulele fills to that version and did ʻukulele solos for 2 of my songs, Ka ʻUhane Hemolele (Kahiau) and Ola Mau. He has been playing ʻukulele for over 15 years since he was in the 4th grade. You can see and hear how his passion and love for music inspires him. Someone told me that he is one of the best ʻukulele players in Hawaiʻi (in my opinion, he IS the best)!

The solo ʻukulele version of Ka ʻUhane is available to all of you to watch right here. But the digital download of the instrumental track is only available to Kickstarter Pledges of $5 or more.
