Werner did what he knows best, presenting details about distributed systems and architectures.
He is presenting again and again what is differentiating AWS from others ("cough" "Azure" !?) and
that would be: innovation and being open to the world with what you discover along the way so others can take advantage of it.
With each re:Invent I am more and more convinced that AWS will be relevant long way into the future, no matter what Wall-street
guys, financial markers or share prices would show, or how strong the competition would invest in online marketing and paid online
presence.

Mind blowing presentation, terrific tech, this is a game changer... Even though all the info they unveiled is just amazing, the crowd remained pretty much quiet and it is because you are witnessing how analitical/rational people enjoy information, this is not an Apple Fans presentation where eveyone seems to be trained to scream or might be that those Apple Fans have their IQ a bit above a rock.
