They Work really Well. I have misaligned Jaws. My teeth are not so perfect. But it took time for me to mold my Shock Doctor Gel. They feel comfortable when I use power tools or cutting branches that are thick.

I had to do it twice. I followed directions perfectly and it didn't work so I had to do it a second time adding an extra 15 seconds and bite down pretty hard. Instead of sucking the water and air through I decided since it didn't work the first time I'd use my fingers to press hard against my teeth and now it's perfect. Great quality but I had to tweak the method a little to get it to work.

So I’m late but here is a idea; mine didn’t fit well after a few times, after that I gave up and put it away for the night. Tried it on the next day and it fits snugly! You may/may not need to leave it sit out for a night. Don’t come for me if it doesn’t work lol

I have the same mouthguard and it works. Also maybe because my dad has been doing it for my brother since he was 5 and now he's 16. (we play lacrosse)

These instructions are being too gentle. If it's not working for you, you're not alone.
Try putting it in the boiling water without cooling it down for the 30 seconds, and then let it heat up for 80 seconds. Don't cool it in water, quickly air dry it and tough it out. After that bite down as hard as you can with only your morals and just focus on pressing it into your molars pushing with your fingers and sucking to the roof of your mouth at the same time, the front teeth will just automatically follow. There should be bite marks from your bottom teeth on the underside of the guard

Instrucciones para amoldar el bucal Gel Max:
1. Pon a hervir unos 125 mililitros (un vaso pequeño) de agua.
2. Cuando el agua hierva, apaga el fuego y después espera 30 segundos.
3. Tras los 30 segundos de espera, deja el bucal en el agua aproximadamente 90 segundos (no sobrepases los 90 segundos).
4. Extrae el bucal del agua con una cuchara para no quemarte, y enfríalo un poco con agua no caliente durante 1 o 2 segundos.
5. Coloca el bucal correctamente en la boca para amoldarlo y muérdelo firmemente, aprieta con los dedos los extremos del bucal y sopla hacia dentro (aspira) para eliminar los restos de agua. Luego mantén el bucal presionado durante unos 20 segundos.
6. Retira el bucal de la boca y enfríalo con agua durante 20 segundos.
7. Tras ello el bucal deberia estar listo, pruebalo y si no estas comodo, repite todo el proceso de amoldamiento.

I tried so many times and it is aligned perfectly to my teeth but wont stick up there. I bought the gel max pro for 15 dollars and its so disappointing
