Tried sierra. Noticed Mission control is a little slower.

Did you do the test right after installation of Sierra? If yes that is bad because:
You had to wait about few day after installation of Sierra because it might do some optimization under the hood.
With my expirience i think Sierra performing slightly better then El Capitan. How ever i turned off the new feture (Optimize Storage for Mac) because i do not like it.
I have Mac Pro 2013 base model but with 8GB RAM insteed of 12. Because one module failed.

you should have learned in science class that you should do tests more than once

I also do think that low ssd space would be the prime cause, because even with El Capitan, that is slow, my Early 2015 256GB, boots up within 10 seconds on both, with 68GB remaining on the macOS partition. Windows bootup is a bit slow with about 22 seconds,

Its not just the boot times. The whole OS is slower and janky AF.

Hi. I use an iMac Retina Late 2015 and after updating to Sierra from El Capitan I noticed frame drop, all over the UI, choppy scrolling and the mission control's animation is awful. Haven't you noticed any of those issues? Thanks in advance.

macOS Sierra has a problem reading my 2011 MBP's GPU or something. It would just suddenly freeze and give me a black screen, so I had to clean install OS X El Capitan.

Doesn't really matter to me because I rarely ever need to reboot my 2012 quad-core i7 MacMini which runs 24/7 connected to my HDTV. I only need it to reboot a few times a year for OSX app or security upgrades. So far, I like Sierra as it seems to be quite stable in my usage. At least it didn't break any apps or extensions I was using on El Capitan and that's something I really like. I usually wait months after a new OS comes out before deciding to install it. I always read plenty of articles to make sure I'm going to come out ahead with a new OS. I enjoy playing around with Siri even though I don't really need it. I'd recommend upgrading to Sierra from El Capitan for anyone with a relatively new or high-end computer. It seems like a safe bet with no surprises and no slowdowns I've noticed.

I have MacBook Pro mid 2012(4GB ram, 500HDD, Intel core i5 ) I updated to El Capitan about one year ago and it's catastrophic slow, boot time about 1:40 second, if I update to os Sierra my MacBook will faster or it can make my Mac even worse?
