'Accept that the *stakes are not as high as they are in your mind' - loved the quote and this interview.

Wow, Conan is actually a good Host. Hearing out Ed, not interrupting just to make a cheap joke or ask a useless question. Props to Him.

I loved that last part about "Don't go changing." It's so simple but I never really thought of it that way. How can you not change when suddenly the entire world changes in how they treat you.

This interview was so light yet so deep. I love Ed Helms. A funny guy but also such a down to earth, honest dude.

‘He’s a rat’ might be one of Conan’s greatest off-the cuffs ever 😂
And that’s saying something

A very underrated movie that Ed did was Cedar Rapids. A not too shabby cast, and he was definitely able to keep up and run with the big dogs.

Ed Helms comes across as such a lovely genuine guy. Every interview he is really funny but so articulate and intelligent in his approach to actually answering questions in an era where a lot of famous people just dodge questions or give fake answers for show. I feel like he always answers authentically. I love the SNAFU podcast.

"I wish there was a way when you are in the good old days to know that these are the good old days" something like that?

Ed is such a down to earth person.
If I would see him on the street I would just shake his hand (if he accept it).
No selfies, autograph and all the other stuff.
He wants to live his life and acting is his job.

I have to listen to the whole podcast now, Ed is a really smart guy and a pleasure to listen to. It really is an interesting topic the loss of anonymity that comes with fame that 99.999% of us will never experience.

Ed is a perfect gentleman! It must be the southern charm! One of his best interviews!

Love love love that you allow the guest to talk, to reveal themselves. Such a great interview.

I recently watched all 9 seasons of the American Office for the first time. And it was only at the end that I realized, Ed Helms that plays Andy, also plays the glasses guy in the Hangover movies that I've seen many years ago.

I’ll never get over seeing Ed during jury duty and being scared to ask for a pic and telling him he’s awesome 😩

I think it's very interesting to see this side of Ed and Conan which brings a new light into their humanness. This format is refreshing.

A really good point on being really famous or being wealthy. You can't do the things you used to do, so you loose that social aspect of your life. Some adjust some don't.
I'm friends with a really wealthy man, and a celebrity. Whenever they come back into town, we can't just hang out on the town.
It's always like 'Old School' where a vehicle picks you up and you have no idea on the situation.
Guy driving - "I can't reveal our destination."

I love it when celebs talk about fame itself. It's really interesting to me because so few people know what it's like, and it's such a weird thing that I'm sure you'd have to actually have to experience. I'd never want to be like Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise famous, but I wouldn't being like Aaron Sorkin famous. People in the industry know and respect you, cinephiles might recognize you, but you're not having people like chase you down trying to get a photo or filming you on their phone at Starbucks.

When The Muppets returned to ABC (and cancelled way too soon for my liking), Ed's episode was one of the best during that run and that is how he became a fav actor of mine.
