We show that 13 is not a prime in the ring of Gaussian integers by finding an explicit factorization and then proving that the factors are prime. We then show that 2-5i is prime in Z[i].

At 2:08 it should be the definition of irreducible element. That works for prime too as Z[i] is an ufd.
